🎮 Gameplay Modes
DogWifDice offers two primary gameplay modes designed to accommodate different player preferences, risk profiles, and interaction styles:
Player vs House (PvH)
Player vs Player (PvP)
Each mode operates within the same core system — a per-round escrow model — ensuring that all games are isolated, transparent, and settled independently.
⚖️ Shared Foundations
Regardless of mode, all games on DogWifDice follow a consistent structure:
Each game round generates a unique escrow wallet
All participants fund the same escrow wallet for that round
The game outcome is determined based on predefined rules
Funds are distributed directly from the escrow wallet
The round is fully settled before a new one begins
This unified structure ensures:
No shared liquidity risk
No hidden balances
Clear and predictable settlement
🏦 Player vs House (PvH)
In Player vs House mode, users play directly against the platform.
🔁 How It Works
The player selects a game and chooses a stake amount
A unique escrow wallet is generated for the round
The player funds the escrow wallet
The house matches the player’s stake 1:1 from a designated house wallet
The game is executed
The escrow wallet is settled based on the result
💰 Payout Structure
Gross Pot = Player Stake + House Stake
Player Wins
Receives 90% of the gross pot
Platform Fee
10% of the gross pot
Player Loses
Entire escrow goes to the house
⚙️ Risk Controls
To maintain platform stability and sustainability, the house may enforce:
Minimum stake limits
Maximum stake limits
Dynamic risk controls depending on liquidity
🧠 Key Characteristics
Fast, single-player experience
Immediate game execution
Consistent availability (no need to wait for opponents)
Defined house edge through fee structure
⚔️ Player vs Player (PvP)
In Player vs Player mode, users compete directly against each other.
🔁 How It Works
A player initiates a game and selects a stake amount
A unique escrow wallet is generated for the round
The initiating player funds the escrow
A second player joins the round and funds the same escrow wallet
The game is executed once both players have funded
The escrow wallet is settled and the winner is paid
💰 Payout Structure
Gross Pot = Player A Stake + Player B Stake
Winner
Receives 90% of the gross pot
Platform Fee
10% of the gross pot
🎲 Game Resolution
Outcome depends on the selected game:
Dice: Highest roll wins
Coinflip: Shared result determines winner
Tie cases: Automatically trigger a reroll until a winner emerges
🧠 Key Characteristics
Competitive, social gameplay
Skill and probability interplay (depending on game)
Higher engagement and replayability
No direct exposure to house risk

🎯 Design Philosophy
The dual-mode system is designed to balance:
Accessibility — PvH ensures users can always play
Engagement — PvP introduces competition and social dynamics
Sustainability — Fees are consistently applied across both modes
This structure allows DogWifDice to serve both:
Casual players seeking quick rounds
Competitive users looking for higher engagement
🔁 Gameplay Flow Across Modes
DogWifDice’s gameplay modes are built to deliver:
Instant access (PvH)
Competitive depth (PvP)
Transparent outcomes (escrow-based settlement)
By combining both modes under a unified escrow architecture, the platform ensures a consistent, fair, and repeatable gaming experience for all users.
